Traffic Tantrum — Terms of Use

DRAFT — not legal advice. Fill in every [square bracket]. Neither store requires your own terms: on the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA applies automatically if you don't supply one, and Google Play only requires a privacy policy. Post these on your website mainly for the website version and the parody/safety wording.

  1. Who can play. You must be 17 or older. By playing you confirm you are.
  2. It's a parody. Traffic Tantrum is a comedy game. All characters, companies and products are fictional. Nothing in it is advice, and nothing in it should be copied in a real vehicle. Real road rage, speeding and distracted driving are dangerous and illegal.
  3. Content warning. The game contains strong language (adjustable in Settings), rude gestures (censored except at the "Full Tantrum" setting), crude humour and cartoon slapstick violence.
  4. Licence. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to play the game for fun. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute it, except for parts that are open-source (see About & credits in the game).
  5. Purchases. The ad-free version is a one-time purchase made through Google Play, the Apple App Store or [website payment provider]. Refunds follow that store's refund policy. [Website: state your refund policy, e.g. "within 14 days if the game doesn't run on your device".]
  6. Ads. The free version shows ads from third parties. We aren't responsible for what advertisers offer.
  7. No warranty. The game is provided "as is". We try to keep it working but don't promise it will run on every device or be error-free.
  8. Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection law in your province or country.
  9. Changes. We may update the game and these terms. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
  10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
